Dr. Freidhoff is a licensed psychologist specializing in psychoeducational
testing for children and adolescents. She received her Ph.D. from the University
of Georgia, Master's degree in clinical psychology from Pepperdine University,
and Bachelor's degree in psychology and sociology from Baylor University.
Dr. Freidhoff has over 20 years of experience working with children, adolescents and young adults, and was the recipient of the Nadine Lambert Outstanding School Psychologist Award in 2012 (from the California Association of School Psychologists). A main area of her work has involved psychoeducational evaluation, consultation, and intervention for kindergarten through 12th grade students with learning disabilities, intellectual deficiencies, attention problems, autism spectrum disorder, multiple handicaps and emotional and/or behavioral disorders. Her focus has been to assist parents with understanding their child's strengths/weaknesses and working to facilitate implementation of supports and services for students and their families.

-Director, School-Based Mental Health collaborative: expanded services to over 70 sites
-Clinic Supervisor: for doctoral students in both Assessment and Intervention Practicums

-Autism Team: served as part of an Autism Team for third largest school district in California
-Legal Cases: assessments, consultation, and/or expert witness
-Staff Trainings: for mental health agencies & schools; (e.g., behavioral interventions)
-Undergraduate and Graduate Instructor: taught courses on Students with Exceptional Needs (e.g., types of
disabilities, psychological and educational implications, and the laws and procedures regarding the
appropriate education/programs), Learning and Motivation, and Development. **Received some
of the highest overall evaluation ratings throughout Loyola Marymount University. At the University of
Georgia received an outstanding instructor award as a result of consistently high evaluation ratings by
the students.
